Street number being reported as the apartment number

Why is the street number appearing in the keyword APARTMENT instead of the keyword STREET in one of my clients' file?

If:

1. you access an existing 2004 file in 2005,
   
2. the name of the street consists of more than one word without hyphens, AND
   
3. the word following the street number has less than three (3) characters (e.g. 1310 de Salaberry),
   

DT Max will report the street number under the Apartment keyword rather than under the Street keyword.

Please note that this problem does not occur with the following letters and short words:
